Building AS-IS Models
According to Gartner only 30% of manually captured processes are accurate.
If we were to use one word to describe how people feel about as-is analysis, what would it be? 'Difficult' — a 'hassle'. What if 'difficult' could be a thing of the past?

AS-IS Modeling Made Easy
StereoLOGIC™ is designed to extract the business process workflow from existing systems quickly and easily. No more tedious meetings trying to get people to describe what they do, only to find out later that these descriptions are only half right. A more efficient way of gleaning the current system is to do this activity right from the system - using a tool that efficiently builds the process models and provides standards to guide analysts.

Having StereoLOGIC is like having a business analyst sitting behind users recording every key stroke and screen in sequence. Unlike logging tools, StereoLOGIC uses semantic recognition to determine if it has 'seen' a screen before, even if the data on the screen is different, so that branching logic automatically connects back to decision points correctly. While users step through the screens, StereoLOGIC automatically captures the process and data flow behind the system using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and Unified Modeling Language (UML), the gold standards defined by the Object Management Group.

Current Systems Analysis
Much of the difficulty in current systems analysis is to enable systems analysts to rapidly show users the contrast of the existing system, the proposed changes to interaction, and the difference. This often requires hours of tedious work trying to weed through old documentation or rebuilding process models. Using StereoLOGIC, analysts are able to quickly record workflows, make adjustments to screen images or workflows, and step stakeholders through the changes.

For rich analysis of systems, StereoLOGIC also supports rich text annotation to embed business rules or system logic behind process steps or screen images. This enables business analysts to create living documentation which is easily validated against system behavior and can be reused in maintenance or modernization initiatives.

Your Subject Matter Experts are Going to Retire
Over the next 10 years, most of the people that really understood how core legacy systems function are going to retire. However, these people are often not analysts that are well equipped to properly conduct as-is analysis to document the current systems. StereoLOGIC™ makes this process easy; essentially, these subject experts just have to know how to use their system. Working together with the team at StereoLOGIC™ one of the key risks of legacy migration can be minimized, because despite everyone's best intent - key functions are often forgotten in the race to modernize and redeploy a complex application.
