We review and update our Privacy Policy and personal information collection and usage procedures as necessary to ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and relevant standards. Information Collection Governance
Our management and legal counsel review and approve all methods and sources of personal information collection, whether collected directly from you or obtained from third parties, to ensure information is obtained fairly, lawfully, and from reliable sources.
We collect personal information directly from you when you use our Service and may obtain information from reliable third-party sources such as business partners or service providers. All third-party sources are vetted and approved through our internal governance process to ensure they obtain information lawfully and maintain appropriate data protection standards.
Customer Data and Service Provider Role
In addition to the personal information we collect directly from visitors and users of our website, StereoLOGIC also processes data on behalf of our enterprise customers. When our customers upload or otherwise provide us with their data for use in our software and services ("Customer Data"), we act as a service provider or processor to those customers, who are the controllers of that data. We use and disclose Customer Data only as instructed by the customer to deliver and support the contracted services. We do not sell or use Customer Data for our own marketing or other independent purposes.
Hosting Region
The location of data storage and processing for Customer Data is determined by the customer in the applicable Customer Agreement. Customers may specify their preferred data residency region. We process Customer Data in accordance with that Agreement and applicable law.
Subprocessors
To provide, secure and maintain our services, we may use trusted third-party service providers ("subprocessors"). We require all subprocessors to implement adequate technical and organizational measures to safeguard data. Our primary cloud infrastructure provider is Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Azure). We will provide customers at least 30 days’ notice prior to engaging a new subprocessor or replacing an existing one. A list of our current subprocessors and their roles is available upon request.
End-User Requests
If you are an end user of one of our customers and wish to access, correct, delete, or otherwise exercise privacy rights regarding Customer Data, please contact the relevant customer directly. Under our Customer Agreements, we will forward any misdirected data-subject request we receive to the appropriate customer within two (2) business days, and we will assist the customer in responding to such requests within ten (10) business days.
Security Incident Notification
In the event of a security incident involving Customer Data, we will notify the affected customer without undue delay and within seventy-two (72) hours after becoming aware of the incident, as set out in the applicable Customer Agreement.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain Customer Data for the duration of the customer’s subscription and will delete or return it within thirty (30) days of the customer’s instruction or termination of the contract, unless otherwise required by law.
